Sounds fantastic. So what engine has it got and what do you plan to put in. Will it be in keeping, or something more powerful?

That is gorgeous. It looks perfect. What is the spec of your 550, did you build it yourself? Great work 
It is a McRae spyder from New Zealand - one of only 38 ever built. In the last 3 years it has gone through a full restoration to make it period correct. I still need to do a number of things to it such as aluminium panelling inside the cabin and engine bay plus a passenger tonneau, which I am currently doing a course so I can do it myself. The last thing will be to upgrade the engine, which I am still deciding on. There is always something that needs to be fixed or changed!
