Thanks for the comment. We aren't sure as it has been one of those "when we have time" projects at the back of the workshop.I guess 60 hours ,with maybe another 20 hours to complete. We took time to decide to keep the body and running gear essentially standard and reliable but competitive. Now know where the shortcuts are for the next one!

Very nice project. The 2.7's are great 911 variants IMHO. Nice a light and purposeful. No unnecessary driver assistance.

Many thanks for the comment - you are right about the weight and overall drivability. Although the engine has weaknesses they are easy to overcome and improve on.We are looking forward to getting it on the track at Easter. Craig

Hi Steve -appreciate the comment. I had the car in the workshop and wanted to build a competitive, affordable and reliable 911 to compete in classic tarmac and club events. The car was originally earmarked to be retro'd to a 73 RS ,but as everyone was doing that I decided that the car should be what it is - a 2.7 narrow body.We have kept the modifications purposely simple but ensuring it will handle ,brake and have a bit more grunt to make it enjoyable.I have fitted it with our Rennline and Rennshift product as can be seen from the images, to help promote the RSR business. We start on the engine this month and hopefully will have the car finished February. The whole idea is to get this car right, promote it at race meetings and hopefully create sufficient buyer interest to build another. Have a couple of shots to load up but nothing else until we get the engine underway and finish the interior. If you would like to know anything else please drop me a note. Craig
