I looked at a lot of cameras and this one is very compact but give a 170 degree view. Does both video and stills and you can pretty much mount it anywhere. It just runs off 2 batteries and a SD card. You can get some great bargains on eBay for them including all the mounts - here is the official site - http://www.goprocamera.com/index.php?area=2
