December 2014

December has arrived and with it we approach the end to another year of Channel P101tv. It's been alot of fun building Channel P101tv and we hope you've all enjoyed it as much as we have. Channel P101tv is filled with great people, great Porsches and plenty of wonderful videos and pictures of our favourite supercar manufacturer. We look forward to seeing you all again throughout 2015. We are keeping the newsletter short this month. Christmas is fast approaching and many of you are out getting those last minute Christmas presents or attending pre-christmas parties.

Taking Your 911 Off Road

This has to be one of our favourite videos on Channel P101tv. This awesome little P{orsche 911 SC goes off road and performs just brilliantly. It just goes to show you how versatile the Porsche 911 is. If you haven't seen it already, make sure you take a peek at this 911 SC doing a little off roading!


Installing a POrsche 911 Headlight Assembly

The headlights are a distinctive feature of the 911. They look integral to the car and look seamless in the way they are fixed to the front of the wings. Amazingly they are held in with only one small retaining screw, yet if assembled carelessly you can easily damage your paintwork. A New Alternator

The restoration of this beautiful 1976 Carrera 3.0 Flatnoise continues. This time Vaughn has installed a new alternator. While he was in there he's cleaned up the engine bay too. Well, it would be rude not to wouldn't it!


Dramatic win for the Porsche 919 Hybrid

The Porsche Team has achieved its maiden win with the Porsche 919 Hybrid in the final race of the 2014 FIA World Endurance Championship in Sao Paulo with the driving trio of Romain Dumas (France), Neel Jani (Switzerland) and Marc Lieb (Germany).
