June 2014

It's June already and the half year point is looming on the horizon. If you've not been out in your Porsche yet, then there's really no excuse. Get those Porsches fired up and out on the road. For those of you that like Pinterest, we've added a button below all Porsche pictures so you can pin your favourites. On June 1, the entries for what will be the 82nd running of the legendary 24 hours of Le Mans will be testing at the famous track. As always there's plenty of new videos and pictures to keep your computer screens busy. If you haven't done so already, pimp up your Firefox web browser with a Porsche Persona.

This month's "Porsche on the Cover" is Nineeleven's Porsche 964. Beautiful in Linen Grey metallic 997 having been restored to its original colour

Porsche is Art

New Channel P101tv member Pablo from Flussig Magazine has created an alternative slant on Porsche art. Very different from the normal wallpaper art this takes a quite a gritty raw persepctive on the Porsche legend. Keep an eye on Pablo's P101tv Channel as there's going to be more coming soon.

Put a Shine on your Fuchs

If you've got some time on your hands, why not refurb your Fuchs yourself. Even better, while you're at it, consider adding some bling! Fuchs wheels are made from a high quality and fairly hard alloy and therefore respond well to polishing. This 'how to' guide shows a few simple stages to refurbishing your Fuchs wheels and create an RSR look but with a polished finish. This guide will show you how to create the early 911 RSR type alloy but with polished petals, black petal offsets and polished outer rims.

Flying Porsche

Next time you're faced with a bill for your Porsche's seatbelts, brakes or tyres, consider what an investment it would have been in the event you find yourself flying through the air in your Porsche with only the ground waiting to break your fall. Take a look at these pictures that capture a 911 doing this very thing. Nobody was hurt in this crash, but the Porsche did pick up some patina along the way!

Porsche is Part of Le Mans

On June 1, the entries for what will be the 82nd running of the legendary 24 hours of Le Mans will be testing at the famous track. It is the final test prior to arguably the toughest motor race in the world. Porsche vehicles have been on the starting grid continuously for 63 years, and the German sports car manufacturer is the record holder with 16 overall victories and 103 class victories.
