The Birth of the Ducktail

The Porsche 911 is famous for the various rear spoilers sitting over the engine at the rear. They have changed quite dramatically over years from the huge turbo whale tail of the 930, the 3.2 Carrera tea tray to the fold away versions found on the Porsche 964. But how and when did it all start. What gave birth to this iconic accessory of the Porsche type 911 and was it an aesthetic or functional addition. Head over to P101tv 'Articles & Guides' to read more as well as leave your own thoughts and comments.

Porsche 997 GT3 RS

There can be no doubt, if your looking for the ultimate on track experience in a Porsche, then the RS series of 911 must be at the top of the list. While admiring the metal on display at Goodwood, we came across a stunning pair of Orange 997 GT3 RS's taking center stage in an enclose just off the main circuit. We think they are awesome. Tell us what you think!

The Singer Porsche 911

The Singer Porsche is something special. A Modern Classic is what Singer calls it. Based on a 964, with classic pre 1974 looks, the Singer 911 has an engine built by Cosworth, suspension by Ohlins and interior custom built to provide a continuation of the classic look using modern refinement. The Singer 911 is full of beautiful custom finishes that make the overall car look beautiful. Head over a take a look at this wonder car and leave your comments.

Porsche made Hybrid Cars long before the hype

These days, automotive press releases are full of the news of yet more ground breaking Electric or Hybrid cars going on sale to today's discerning public. What you may not know is that Porsche had produced both electric and hybrid cars way back when the automotive industry was still in its infancy.
